Pam Ahr, MBA, ARM, CSP  |  Senior Safety Management Consultant  |  SAIF Corporation, Medford

Pam Ahr is a Senior Safety Management Consultant for SAIF Corporation in Medford. Prior to joining SAIF in October 2003, she worked for five years at Jackson County Roads and Parks Department as their safety and human resource manager. Pam has a BS in Human Resource Management from Arizona State University and an MBA from the University of Oregon. She recently became a Certified Safety Professional. She currently works with employers in Southern Oregon to help them implement or refine a comprehensive safety and health program.

Tanya Haakinson, PHR, SHRM-CP  |  Safety Director   |  Timber Products Company, Medford

Tanya Haakinson is currently the Safety Director at Timber Products Company. Her recent positions include a HR & Safety Manager role at SierraPine, a HR Manager role at Macy’s, as well as an Industrial Recruiter for Express Employment Professionals. She has been working in Human Resources for the past 13 years and is currently serving on the Rogue Valley SHRM board as President and also serves on the Rogue Workforce Partnership board. She is heavily involved with ASSE, RSA, and the STEM Alliance. She holds a Bachelor’s in Business Management with a HR Minor. She earned her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certification in 2011 and became a SHRM-Certified Professional in 2014. Additionally, she has completed a Safety & Health Leadership Certificate from the University of Washington/OSHA Outreach Center in 2013.
