Every organization needs great leaders if it is to move forward. Does your organization use your leadership capabilities to build strategic advantage? This session uses DiSC© methodology to help you understand your behavioral style, allowing you to understand how others see you, how you are effective, where you can improve your ability to move your organization forward. Through video and many interactive techniques, participants have the opportunity to understand the importance of behavioral style, guiding them to become better leaders. You will listen as others in the room describe their individual and organizational needs, and help you explore new methods that you can use to relate better to them. You will determine how best to communicate with that "difficult" person, how to change your frame of reference and truly use your new communication abilities to become more effective with "them." At the conclusion you will become a better leader, understanding more about how to respond to others, and thus move the organization forward .

    Specific session outcomes:

    1. Understand four basic leadership styles and how each helps the organization move forward
    2. How to identify what your style is, and how it meets the organization's strategic needs
    3. How to improve your communication with people of each style
    4. How to improve your leadership capabilities
    5. Learn techniques to help you improve your team's functioning and productivity
