Are your on-boarding and training programs delivering the results you need? Are employees engaged, eager to sharpen and develop skills, and can they demonstrate that they are effectively using the training you make available to them?

Keeping employees engaged isn’t easy—especially in today’s easily-distracted and multitasking workforce. Most training programs are a waste of time and money because they don’t fully engage all types of learners in the process of learning.  One way to dramatically dial up the effectiveness of your training programs is to use aspects of games to make them more interactive and engaging.

Gamification is a leading-edge training methodology specifically targeted at increasing training effectiveness and return on investment (ROI). Gamification is not simply about having employees play games; it’s about using aspects of games—quests, points, objectives, stories and other key tools—strategically to fully immerse participants in the process of learning.  This approach dramatically increases engagement, retention, and application of learned principles and skills.

In this 2 Hour Program, we will:

    • Define the key elements of gamification – what gamification IS and what it IS NOT
    • Describe the step by step process used to gamify a training program.
    • Show you how to start using these principles in your organization.
    • Describe a path forward to more fully engage with gamification as a key component of your training programs.

Gamification of real-world training and on-boarding programs is a powerful technique which can motivate people and help generate loyalty to your organization, its products, and its message. At its core, Gamification is about finding the fun in the things we must do.

Isn’t it time to examine whether gamification can help you achieve these goals?
