    Program Overview:  

    As health care costs continue to increase, employers are searching for ways to keep these costs under control and as manageable as possible. At the same time, they attempt to balance the need to provide benefit programs that connect with their employees, simplify administration AND ensure the organization is compliant. 

    During our time, we will get background on the reasons behind the continued cost trends in "healthcare" and explore best and emerging practices that help employers connect with their most valuable assets, their employees. We'll also discuss key compliance & cost risks and explore concepts to help mitigate them...oh and try to have some fun while doing it.

    About the Presenter:   

    Joel Daniels is the Chief Advocacy Officer for Revolution Benefits group whose mission is to provide access to affordable and usable benefits options. 20+ years of experience in strategic leadership, development, collaboration & brand integrity is infused into Joel's approach to employee benefits strategies with an organizational mindset. After 4 years in benefits industry, he discovered the urgent need for employers as well as individuals to be given access to affordable benefits that are also usable. In response to that need Joel founded Revolution Benefits Group. He and his team work with other professionals in & out of the insurance industry, to find collaborative and innovative solutions to healthcare & employee benefits challenges.

    With years of interacting and learning from HR Professionals, C-Level Executives as well as Middle Management and Support Staff- he's developed the ability to understand the core needs of the individuals that make up an organization.

    Matt Dunbar is the founder and President of Rogue Benefit Planning, a locally owned employee benefits advisory brokerage. Having over 13 years of working experience in the industry and holding multiple positions as a benefits consultant for both large and small brokerages, Matt understands what businesses are looking for and expecting from their health benefits consultant. Through his past work experience, he was also able to understand and incorporate the strengths that each agency has and form that into Rogue Benefit Planning.

    Matt received his education from Southern Oregon University and Oregon State University In business management and Spanish. Upon graduating he packed up his bags and moved to Mexico and Spain for a year where he furthered his education in economics and Spanish. After he returned, he has since focused on the employee benefits industry and what it takes to keep companies in a positive direction in that challenging  arena.
