    Program Overview:

The ability to apply data to strategic talent decisions is a high priority for most HR executives. Not only is data-driven decision-making potentially a competitive advantage, but it also helps leaders boost revenues, manage costs, mitigate risks, and execute functional strategies.
However, as detailed in a Deloitte Global Human Capital Trends report, while 75 percent of HR executives state that workforce analytics is “important”, only 8 percent rate their function’s capability for analytics as “strong”.
As such, there is a workforce analytics “execution gap” - the difference between intent and action. This is despite the fact that HR functions are sitting on billions of data points, stored within talent, performance, engagement, and core HR systems. While HR has always had access to standard reports and basic metrics from these sources, the timeliness, relevance, and accuracy of data continues to fall short of expectations. Why
The stories in this presentation illustrate both the challenge and opportunity facing HR practitioners in building an internal capability for analytics and engaging external stakeholders in the utilization of data. Mick will also weave in examples of how to overcome each hurdle, thus moving further along the road to analytics maturity.

    Highlights and Key Takeaways:

    1. Identify a full range of barriers to success in workforce analytics
    2. Understand how to adopt leading practices in analytics consistent with your company’s culture
    3. How to deliver insights to executives that go beyond Excel spreadsheets
