Program Description:
The unemployment benefits process is complex, and there aren’t a lot of good resources out there to help you understand it. We are pleased to announce a special presentation aimed at simplifying the law and giving you special insider tips to help you understand how unemployment benefits work.
Our presenter, Ryan Orr, was an administrative law judge handling unemployment hearings for several years and is looking forward to demystifying the process for you.

About the Presenter:
Ryan brings his experience as an employment law attorney and administrative law judge to assist employers navigate the complex and ever-changing waters of employment law through consulting and training. Focusing on some of the most common compliance issues as well as the foundations of human resources such as employee handbooks, job descriptions, employee supervision handbooks, discipline, documentation, performance management, HR assessments and investigations, Ryan’s approachable style will put you at ease even in difficult situations. Ryan is a member of the Oregon State Bar. He is a die-hard Duck and Blazer fan. When he isn’t working, he can often be found on the side of a cliff suspended by carabiners and thin strips of nylon.
